Our Successful History
Steve The Handyman was started in 2018 by Howard and Steve. Steve left the company after about a year. Howard has since grown the company from just 1 technician to 6. We cover from Boynton Beach to Fort Lauderdale.
Our Services
We do almost all home repairs and improvements (excluding appliances and air conditioning). We do bathroom and kitchen remodeling, as well as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. We are handyman and as such are not required to be licensed. We are insured and have several affiliations with licensed contractors to deal with jobs that require a permit.

Meet the Members of Our Team
Mike
Mike had his own successful home repair renovation business. He’s now working with us and has brought his many years of experience with him. His helper is his wife who is also experienced in many aspects of home repair.
Howard
Started his career as an educator teaching Industrial Arts Education in Philadelphia after earning his undergraduate degree at Penn State. He went on to earn a master’s degree in industrial and technology from the College of New Jersey. After a 13-year teaching career, Howard started a printing company in Philadelphia. He built the company from annual sales of $5,000 to 14MM over a 20-year period. After an early retirement, he and Steve started the handyman business.
Shawn
Shawn is a Florida native who has been in the home repair business since he was 17. He spent several years repairing furniture to add to his skill set. He then spent several years in CA to start a business where he built recording studios for many different artists. More recently he returned Florida to help care for his dad and we were fortunate enough to get him. There isn’t much he can’t repair.
Ulysses
Ule has 40 plus years in the trade. He renovated houses for about 20 years before relocating to S. Florida. Aside from his vast knowledge of every aspect of repairing, he is a master painter and wall covering expert.
Gene
Gene has an engineering degree and has also been doing design projects for many years. Aside from most light repairs, he specializes in designing and installing built in closets
Omeil
Omeil comes from Albany, where he had several businesses. He and his guys have a vast background in all things concrete. They have received nothing but rave reviews on every job.
